Certification

Key objectives of the NIMMO® Educational Foundation include standardization of education in the application of NIMMOCARE®. To ensure a high standard of quality, all NIMMOCARE® Practitioners are certified exclusively by the NIMMO® Educational Foundation. To achieve certification, every doctor is required to complete a specially designed curriculum and to pass an examination. This coursework is in addition to the basic Doctor of Chiropractic program. In order to maintain certification, practitioners must also meet continuing education requirements.

The materials and requirements of the Certified NIMMOCARE® Practitioner curriculum were designed by Dr. Jeffrey Cohen. Dr. Cohen was certified as a NIMMOCARE® Instructor in 1978 by Dr. Raymond Nimmo. Since then he has taught countless postgraduate seminars for Chiropractors around the United States. He has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYCC for 10 years, where he teaches a NIMMOCARE® course to chiropractic students.
